Story Behind the Art:
Moroccan leather henna lamps are made by master artisans from Marrakech region, created by stretching leather over an iron frame. Lamps come with the electric fixture installed and are ready for use. Artisans range from apprentices to men in their sixties. Artisans pass down their trade from generation to generation and are proud of their heritage and art. Artisans live simply yet comfortably, typically in concrete villas which provide shelter and comfort from the hot Moroccan sun.
